Swaad :-
Situated at Ganpati Plaza, MI road, is recommended for a minor splurge.
It has interesting Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. Go downstairs
for a beer. In the same complex is the Swanky, but less popular, '
Celebrations ', which serves pure veg food.
Niro's :-
Situated at MI road and is a favourite with Indian and Westerners alike. There
is an extensive menu offering excellent veg and nonveg Indian, Chinese and
Continental food.
Chanakaya Restaurants :
Situated on the north side of MI road, is highly recommended. The
attentive staff are happy to explain the various pure veg menu items,
continental dishes and Indian food.
Copper
Chimney :
It offers veg and nonveg Indian, Continental and Chinese food in a
pleasant setting. Try the Rajasthani dish lal maas (mutton in a
thick spicy gravy).
Golden Dragon :-
It is down the side street next to Niro's, specialises in Chinese cuisine,
but also serves some Indian dishes and Singapore noodles

Four Seasons :-
Situated at D-43A Subhash Marg, C-Scheme, is not that centrally located,
but the food is great. This multicuisine veg restaurant has moderately
priced fare served in pleasant surroundings. A speciality is the rava
dosa , which is a ground rice and semolina pancake with coconut,
chilli, carrot and onion.
Natraj :-
Situated at MI road, very good veg place that's also popular for its Indian
sweets and spicy nibbles. Their north Indian food is tasty; the vegetable bomb
curry is a blast..
Laxami
Mishthan Bhandar:-
Situated in Johari Bazaar, has been going strong since 1954. Out the
front, a counter serves snacks and colourful Indian sweets.
Indian Coffee House :
ISituated at MI road, off the street, next to Arrow men's wear, is rather
seedy inside, but good if you are craving a decent cup of coffee. Cheap
south Indian food is also available.

ISituated at MI road and serves good Indian food.

Bake Hutt :-
It's nearby MI road, offers a selection of sweet treats including
chocolate donuts and little lemon tarts. They can bake birthday cakes.
Venus
Bakery :-
Situated at Subhash Marg, just off MI road, also sells pastries. But the
biggest and best selection of fresh breads and pastries can be found at '
Hot Breads ', in the Ganpati Plaza complex on MI road.
Miscellaneous
Pizza Hut :-
Situated in the Ganpati Plaza, is the place to come if you are craving
real pizza. There are traditional western-style pizzas, as well as '
fusion ' creations, such as chicken tikka pizza. You can eat in, take
away, or opt for the free delivery service. Also in the Ganpati Plaza is '
Baskin 31 Robins ', where you can indulge in ice-creams with evocative
names such as 'kiss me nut'..
Handy Restaurant :-
It is opposite the main post office, is tucked
away at the back of the Maya Mansions building. It's nothing flash as far
as decor goes, but it offers scrumptious barbecue dishes at reasonable
prices. In the evenings, you can get take- away kebabs at the entrance to
the restaurant.
Lassiwala :-
It is situated at MI road, has its name up in brass and is the place to go
for a thick, creamy lassi.
Polo
Bar :-
ISituated at the Rambagh Palace. Limited snacks are available.
